Forestry Emergency First Aid at Work (VTQ)
This version of the Emergency First Aid at Work course includes the extra subjects required by the Forestry Commission, for those working in industries such as Stalking and Forestry.
This version of the Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course includes the extra subjects required by the Forestry Commission, for those working in industries such as Stalking and Forestry. Extra subjects covered include severe cuts like chainsaws, crush injuries, Hypothermia and Lyme Disease. Tourniquet and Haemostatic dressing training can be added to this course at no extra cost.
The HSE and Forestry Commission, strongly recommend that all first aiders complete an annual first aid refresher courses to ensure that they are up to date with any changes and to refresh knowledge.
All courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured in compliance with Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (1981). Delivered in accordance with the HSE and 2015 Resuscitation council guidelines.
The content of this course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines
This course comes with a Certified CPD Statement for 6 Hours.
