Forest School First Aid (VTQ)
The Forest Schools First Aid is designed to meet the criteria and guidelines of Forest Schools. The course teaches First Aid skills over 2.5 days.
The context for this training course is Forest School and as such the discussion, practice and outdoor scenarios are suited to Forest School situations. This course not only focuses on usual First Aid subjects, but also on areas such as CPR in the wilderness, heat and cold injuries and illnesses and bites/stings amongst other topics.
Please note that learners undertaking this course have the option to choose to take a regulated qualification for an additional charge.
All FlexiMed first aid courses are delivered, evaluated and quality assured in compliance with Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (1981). Delivered in accordance with the HSE and 2015 Resuscitation council guidelines.
The content of this course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines
This course comes with a Certified CPD Statement for 16 Hours.
