Cancellation by FlexiMed Training:
This is very unlikely, however we reserve the right to cancel at any time, if this were to occur you would receive the full booking fee within 28 days. If a course has to be cancelled at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances we will make every attempt to contact you at the address, telephone, fax, email given to us at reservation/booking.
Late arrivals or absences during the course or from any session will probably mean that you will not receive the qualification certificate for which you have joined the course. Qualifications have a mandatory contact time requirement. In all such cases the full course fee remains payable.
The cost of the certificate is included in the fees. Typically they are received 7-10 days following the course.
For in-house bookings they will be delivered to the lead booking contact unless informed otherwise.
For individual bookings, 1-1’s and ‘open classes’, your certificates will be delivered to the address on the student registration form.
We are happy to re-issue lost certificates at a charge of £10 per certificate.
We ask that you/your course participants are aware of the following:
First Aid training is an active practical subject and can be physically demanding. Participants are normally expected to be physically fit enough to kneel, twist, and bend over simulated casualties, to sit on the floor, to perform simulated CPR, roll, be rolled and help roll simulated casualties.
Please bring any medical problems to our attention when booking the course. We will make all reasonable adjustments to account for this during our courses. We will not exclude anyone from our training but reserve the right to ensure all reasonable adjustments are in place to meet our statutory obligations. If you do not disclose information about yourself or your group at the time of booking, we reserve the right to cancel a course or your booking.
You should wear comfortable clothing, no shorts or low cut tops. You should also avoid wearing lipstick, lip-gloss or lip balms, as this hinders cleaning of the manikins.
For those completing The First Aid at Work Requalification course, we require a copy of your current First Aid at Work certificate at least 14 days before course commencement.
Health and Safety of venues:
Venues provided by you:
It is your responsibility to ensure that the venue that you provide for your is suitable and safe. We retain the right to cancel a course if the venue is deemed unsafe by the tutor on the day.
